Military Reenactments

Military Reenactments are the core foundation of WSSLHM. During these shows photos are to be taken at every event. These photos demonstrate different time periods with different people every year. With the average age limit of the people in the photos is 17.

Learn more about the Recreational Center; a place for teens. While they are at the center they participate in a wide variety of activities. During the months of May through July they can participate in military reenactments were they learn leadership qualities and teamwork. After these events they begin constructing for the haunted house and much more!

Our Museum’s Mission

What We’re All About

Our mission is preserve the military history and culture of our great country. With the great emphasizes of the one's that were forgotten. We thrive to tell the stories of the soldiers before us.

 

We provide education though hands on learning, lectures, reenactments, preservation, and restoration of military history. Our display's represents all conflicts our nations has been in. 

Our volunteers are all ages from 1-99. Children are the heart of our business with education in history and understanding peoples needs. 

Some of the services we provide are:

  • Community Classes

  • Assisting in the research for veterans and family members

  • Homework help

  • After-school program

Volunteers Welcome

We strive to aid our community
